Interested in making a donation to the Bedichek-Orman Auction?

Items may be dropped off at any HCCS Campus Library along with a completed donation form (located here). Items without donation forms will not be accepted.

Donations will be accepted until the close of business on Friday, September 30, 2011. Any donations made after that date will be held for the following year’s auction.

Items too large to be easily transported should be kept by the donor and a photograph of the item should be attached to the donation form. The purchaser and the donor will coordinate after the auction to ensure delivery.

We are hoping to make the 2011 auction the most successful auction thus far, so please consider looking in closets and attics and garages for treasures in your home, purchasing an item to donate, talking to local businesses that might be willing to donate, or partnering with your department or discipline to put together a donation.

Items that have done very well in the past include creatively-themed baskets (such as Texas Wines or Movie Night), trips and experiences (like a week at a lake house or a sailboat tour), educational and training opportunities (such as guitar lessons), and art pieces. However, every single item donated each year helps to raise money for professional development and all donations are greatly appreciated!

All funds raised through the auction benefit the HCC Bedichek-Orman Operating Fund and Endowment, a joint project of the HCC Faculty Association and the HCCS Foundation, used to fund professional development opportunities for faculty and staff.

All gifts to the HCCS Foundation are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. The HCCS Foundation will provide a Gift In Kind form to donors who request one on their donation form.

Thank you in advance for your donations!

We look forwarding to seeing you at the auction!
