On Friday March 10, the Senate sent an executive summary to all faculty regarding its approved compensation goals for FY24. A link to the full compensation study may be found here

The full details of the Senate’s objectives are contained within the study linked above. Briefly, the primary ones are as follows:

  1. Continued merit-based pay increases (steps) of 2% for all qualifying FT faculty.
  2. An upward adjustment of 8% to base FT pay, and 12% to base PT pay for FY24.
  3. Four additional steps added to the top of the step scale.

The Senate leadership has been in very positive discussions with senior Administration officials, and looks forward to continuing the joint work towards finalizing a mutually-acceptable proposal for inclusion in the final FY24 budget.
