You may have heard the rumor that one of our work group members went all the way to Morocco to score some fantastic treasures for the auction and to help set the mood for our “Night in Morocco” theme… and it is TRUE!
Suna Ridouane visited Morocco in May and came home with a variety of fantastic treasures including several gorgeous decorative boxes, a large engraved brass plate, a set of hand-made Berber baskets, several pieces of jewelry, and a beautiful hand-woven Moroccan rug. All of these items will be up for sale at this year’s Bedichek-Orman auction on Friday, October 14, 2011 at 5:30 pm in the West Loop Auditorium, so be sure to mark your calendar!
